618 SuperShow event for Dongfang Weishi : Be sure to catch this star-studded event on June 17th at 7:30pm (China time)! Idols including NEX7, Aria Jin, Xiao Gui, Ren Jialun, Roy Wang, and Zhang Jie will be officially attending. Audiences will also be looking forward to seeing GEM, Guan Xiaotong, AKB48, and even ProduceCamp CHUANG 2020 trainees taking part in the Super Show event.

We Are Blazing - R1SE wins showdown against Rocket Girls 101: The new variety show announced the winners for this week’s episode - R1SE, SNH48, and Penicillin. The show’s not over yet as Rocket Girls, SIS, and Black ACE will still continue to make a comeback next week.

Jackson Wang’s major weight loss is revealed on the variety show, GoFridge! : During his appearance on the first season of the show, Jackson weighed 74kg. He currently weighs 58.2kg. Netizens praise him for how self-disciplined Jackson has been - it’s been revealed that he has lost almost 16kg since his first participation on the variety show. The singer has always been working really hard ever since his debut.

Sisheng Fans (私生饭 ) and their impact on Chinese celebrities (DEBATABLE):
This week, we’ve reported on two celebrities that have voiced out against Sisheng fans - Justin Huang of NEX7 (formerly of Nine Percent) and actor Huang Jingyu .

Also known as Sasaeng fans in the k-pop world, Sisheng fans literally translate to “private-life fans” - which refers to obsessive fans who physically stalks a celebrity or engages in behavior that invades the privacy of the public figure. They have gained a notorious reputation for being rude as they do not respect the personal space and the celebrity’s right to privacy.

Huang Jingyu calls out sisheng fans on his Weibo, who followed his tracks to his private residence. "You can't use 'being a fan' and 'wanna take a look" to justify problems. What's scary isn't being followed, but to think that tracking someone is justifiable… My job is in front of the camera, but I swear to guard and protect the little space that I have."

It’s clear that our favorite celebrities are affected negatively by these incidents, where their safety and privacy is jeopardized.
