Forbes China Release Their Top 100 Celebrities List For 2020
Forbes China have compiled a list of actors, singers, presenters, directors, screenwriters, writers, models, athletes, Internet celebrities in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who has made outstanding achievements in their respective fields in the past year. These celebrities have been assessed and ranked through reviewing the multiple dimensions of their work including commercial value and work influence. Although the ratio of men to women celebs display that men are easier to become famous and earn higher income compared to women, the performance of their works and the positive influence of celebrities in their fields have become the main assessment criteria for this list. Talk about gender equality.

Top 10 on the Forbes China 100 Celebrity List
1. Jackson Yee - at only 20, the young actor’s movie “Better Days” ignited the entire Chinese film market, making it a sensation. His position shows power of young celebs.
2. Xu Zheng - actor and director
3. Zhou Dongyu - won numerous awards for her movies, including “Better Days”
4. Jay Chou - King of Mandopop, his hard work and effort surely renders his fame.
5. Lay Zhang Yixing - He’s made a name for himself through films, televisions and songs, including his four variety shows being broadcasted one after another.
6. Yang Mi - actress and founder of JayWalk Studios / Jiaxing media
7. Zanila Zhao Liying - well known actress who is hosting a cooking variety show
8. Kris Wu Yifan - this year, Kris Wu stars in drama series “The Golden Hairpin”. He also joined “Chuang 2020” as a special mentor, in the midst of his other works
9. Wang Yibo - from “The Untamed” to racing and countless brand endorsements and “Street Dance of China”, what can’t Yibo do?
10. Karry Wang Junkai - another member of the TF Boys on the top 10!!

Huang Zitao’s Father Passes Away At Age 52 Due To Illness
On September 11th 2020 (9/11), L.TAO Entertainment published an obituary for Huang Zitao’s father, Huang Zhongdong. Huang Zhongdong, the founder and executive director of L.TAO Entertainment, passed away unfortunately due to illness at age 52. :(
Huang Zitao’s Studio wrote: “With a deep and heavy heart, thank you for all your concerns. Due to the loss of a loved one, we request everyone to give Mr. Huang Zitao some time to deal with matters, as well as be with his family.”
Fall romance? - UNIQ’s Li Wenhan Has Been Spotted On Date With Rumoured Girlfriend
UNINE center Li Wenhan (26), is rumoured to be dating fellow actress and singer “Niki” Yi Yizi (33). Recently, UNINE and UNIQ member Li Wenhan has been photographed behaving intimately with the actress and singer. The two were seen hugging sweetly after their meal together. At the moment, both parties have yet to make an official statement denying or confirming this rumour.

Congratulations to the top 7 jiejie contestants from survival show Sisters Who Make Waves, who have successfully debuted under the girl group Priceless Sisters! NingJing earned the highest votes, followed by Wan Qian, Meng Jia, Lisi Danni, Zhang Yuqi, Yisa Yu, and Huang Ling.

Former leader of Rocket Girls has announced that she will be working with Netease Music on a new social media campaign encouraging women not to be afraid to speak up their mind! You go, girl!
